Meet DJ Xander

I'm Alex, also known as DJ Xander, and I've DJ'd 70+ events.

I've played every type of event you could imagine. I even played in Rome, Italy while studying abroad.

What I've always loved is getting people up to dance.

And my favorite place to do it is at a wedding.

A year ago, I signed with a premier talent agency in Philadelphia where I apprenticed and learned everything.

Now I also play my own.

It would be an honor to be a part of this incredible moment in your life!

Common Questions

How much does a wedding DJ cost?
Full-day coverage is $2,500. That includes sound for your ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, plus DJ and emcee services for the entire night. If you don't need the full day, the rate comes down, with packages built around what your wedding actually needs. Photography and videography are not included, but I'm happy to point you toward trusted vendors if you need recommendations.
Do I need to hire a separate emcee?
I handle both. You get one person running your sound, music, and every announcement and introduction. No need to coordinate a separate emcee.
Does a wedding DJ provide their own sound system?
Yes. I bring professional sound equipment for ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, so you don't need to worry about the venue providing anything.
Can we request specific songs?
Absolutely. You can send me must plays, do not plays, playlists, and other songs you'd like and I'll build my set around them while still reading the room live.
What happens if equipment fails during the wedding?
I bring two backup speakers and a generator to every event in case something goes wrong. I also carry insurance, so you're covered either way.
What happens after we sign the contract?
Once your contract is signed, we're in direct contact whenever you need. Questions, song ideas, timeline updates, I'm always available. We'll also have a dedicated planning meeting closer to your date to walk through everything together.
How far in advance should you book a wedding DJ?
The sooner the better. Wedding dates fill up fast, and once a date's booked, it's booked. I'd recommend reaching out as early as possible to make sure I'm available for yours.
